Goshen, N.Y. (May 11, 2011) – Elant is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa McCoy as Director of Corporate Initiatives.
Ms. McCoy was most recently Owner/President of Design Perceptions, LLC, where she led projects for the interior design firm including the new 475,000-square-foot New York State Office of the State Comptroller headquarters in Albany, the Latham-based New York State Police Troop G headquarters, and regional clients such as Orange Regional Medical Center, St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital and Westage Companies.
Ms. McCoy brings more than 27 years of experience in interior design, project management, relocation and facilities management to her role as director of corporate initiatives for Elant. Her energy and success in community relations and development is evident through her work with many regional non-profit organizations. She has served on numerous boards of directors, including in leadership capacities for Junior Achievement of the Hudson Valley, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, St. Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary, Newburgh Family YMCA, Girl Scout Council of the Hudson Valley and many others.

As director of corporate initiatives, Ms. McCoy will develop corporate partnerships, event fundraising and in-kind material support for Elant, as well as spearhead community and public relations programs and the development of strategic alliances.
