GOSHEN, N.Y. (September 26, 2013) — Elant, the Hudson Valley’s leading provider of senior health and housing solutions, has announced that Elant at Wappingers Falls will be recognized at an upcoming event, hosted by the Mid-Hudson Employment Alliance, for its efforts in creating sustainable employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The awards ceremony, which is named for National Disability Employment Awareness Month, will take place at 8 a.m. Oct. 30 at the Henry A. Wallace Visitor and Education Center.
The National Disability Employment Awareness Month Awards are intended to reward and bring to light the issue of limited employment opportunities for those with disabilities. Elant has been nominated by Tina M. Field of Gateway Community Industries and will receive its award for creating substantial opportunities for disabled individuals.

The National Disability Employment Awareness Month Awards Ceremony will honor organizations and companies that have helped the Mid-Hudson Employment Alliance in its mission to further employment to individuals with disabilities in Ulster, Putnam and Dutchess counties.
