GOSHEN, N.Y. (Aug. 4, 2014) — Elant, the Hudson Valley’s leading provider of senior health and housing solutions, has named Janet Giannetta as Vice President of Human Resources.
Giannetta is a senior-level human resources professional with years of experience in the areas of employee and labor relations; recruitment; organizational development; professional development; employee retention and compliance with state and federal labor laws. She previously served as Corporate Director of Human Resources for Elant.

Over the course of her career, Giannetta has served in various industries, including health care, manufacturing and finance, and has demonstrated particular expertise in balancing employee advocacy with the needs of businesses and organizations. In the past, she was the Regional Human Resources Director for Wingate Healthcare in Needham, Mass., where she oversaw the HR needs of more than 1,500 employees across nine skilled nursing facilities. She was also previously the Director of Human Resources for Imperial Schrade Corp. in Ellenville and the Dominican Sisters of Hope in Newburgh.
Giannetta earned a bachelor’s degree from SUNY at Geneseo and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources. She completed post-gradate studies at Marist College and SUNY New Paltz, focusing on business and education.
