NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (May 27, 2011) – A banking and legal executive is the newest member on the board of the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp.
Daniel G. Rothstein is General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer at Provident New York Bancorp. Rothstein has been employed by Provident Bank since 1983, and was named Executive Vice President in 1989. He has spent his professional career in commercial banking in the Hudson Valley.
“Dan brings an excellent banking, risk management and legal background to the HVEDC board,” said Mike Oates, CEO and President of the group. “Dan has a wealth of business expertise and skills that will help us attract and retain key businesses to the Hudson Valley. We are thrilled to have him join our Board of Directors.”
