Crown Castle Fiber’s Smith, JGS’s Del Rosso, Hudson Valley Magazine’s Burnside and Regeneron’s Loosen Join HVEDC’s Board of Directors

GOSHEN, N.Y. (February 23, 2018) — Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC) announced the appointment of four new members of its board of directors: Tim Smith from Crown Castle Fiber (formerly known as Lightower Fiber Networks); Domenick Del Rosso from Judelson, Giordano & Siegel (JGS), CPA, PC; Dan Burnside of Hudson Valley Magazine, and Erin Griffin Loosen from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.

Smith is Vice President of Regional Sales for Crown Castle Fiber, previously known as Lightower Fiber Networks. The telecommunications company purchased Lightower in 2017, and Smith works with the organization to provide broadband internet service to customers around the Hudson Valley region.

A vice president at JGS, Del Rosso has been with the firm since 2003, and specializes in tax planning and strategy for business and individual clients. He prides himself on tax management, offering clients sound guidance for their taxes all year long. Del Rosso is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a past member of the board of directors for the local chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Burnside was named publisher of Hudson Valley Magazine in December 2017. Previously he worked with The Blue Book Building and Construction Network, which is an industry leader in offering companies in the construction industry with full-scale business solutions. Burnside has a strong background in sales, management and product launches, and currently oversees the marketing and sales teams with the magazine.

Loosen joined Regeneron in 2012, and in her time with the company has held numerous positions. She currently has primary responsibility for Regeneron’s New York State government affairs, while also supporting the company’s public policy team located in Washington, D.C. Her background in legislative affairs and understanding of economic development makes her an ideal member for the HVEDC board of directors.

“We are thrilled to welcome these business professionals to our board,” said Laurence P. Gottlieb, President and CEO of HVEDC. “Their diverse industry experiences and backgrounds will provide us with valuable insights into the greater regional economy. We are eager to officially welcome them to the team and begin learning from their experiences.”
