Local propane company awarded for its cost-saving efforts

On Tuesday, June 5, Combined Energy Services was recognized by Energi, a leading provider of Insurance and Risk Management Programs to the energy industry, as being the “Best of the Best” within the industry at the annual Energi Risk Management & Insurance Summit in Orlando, Fla.

Combined Energy Services manages an extensive driver and vehicle safety program that requires propane truck drivers to complete the Certified Employee Training Program, a nationally recognized safety training initiative. The 2012 Excellence in Risk Management Award is given to select energy companies who have made significant commitments to loss prevention and safety programs. The criteria for this award include loss ratio, commitment to safety, implementation of Risk Management Best Practices, and incorporation of Energi’s SafetyPlus recommendations.
