Regional energy supplier donates 2005 Chevy van to aid in fire police activities
COMBINED ENERGY SERVICES DONATES UTILITY TRUCK TO LIBERTY FIRE DEPARTMENT
The 2005 Chevy Utility Van will be used by the LFD fire police to carry equipment and personnel to the scenes of fires and accidents. Receiving the van was Fire Chief Corky Chanov and long time firefighters Kevin Hopkins, captain of the fire police, and Michael Chanov, fire district commissioner. CES has a propane storage facility in the Liberty fire district and has serviced many consumers in that area for more than 40 years.
“The Liberty Fire Department works hard every day to keep the residents and businesses of Liberty and its surrounding areas safe,” said Chief Chanov. “It’s always a blessing when we are gifted something from a local business and we are truly grateful to Mike and Walt Taylor for this donation that will aid our mission.”
