Long-time CES customer will utilize truck for camps maintenance
Monticello, N.Y. (February 21, 2018) – Combined Energy Services (CES), a regional energy supplier, recently donated a cab chassis truck to the Ten Mile River Scout Camps in Sullivan County, N.Y., which will be used to help the camps overall ground maintenance.
Ten Mile River Scout Camps, a non-profit organization, is a 12,000-acre Scout Reservation that’s home to three traditional Scout summer camps and one family camp. Ten Mile River Scout Camps is operated year-round and has been hosting thousands of Scouts since 1927. It is operated by the Greater New York Council, functioning solely on donations.
“As always, we’re honored to be able to give back to the local community we service,” said Mike Taylor, Combined Energy Services president. “Ten Mile River Scout Camps has been a devoted CES customer for decades and we’re proud to be able to give back to this worthy organization that has helped shape the lives of thousands of Scouts.”
The CES-donated cab chassis truck will be used to help maintain several camps and over 25-miles of private roadways. The CES truck donation will replace a worn-out, 25-year old truck currently used by the Ten Mile River Scout Camps maintenance and ranger departments. As a non-profit organization, contributions are always welcome and appreciated.
