September 27, 2012 – Monticello, N.Y. – Combined Energy Services (CES), a regional energy supplier, has officially broken ground on its Goshen, N.Y. site that will help better serve customers in Orange County, N.Y. and Sussex County, N.J.
“The new service center in Goshen is a testament to Combined Energy Services’ commitment to its customers,” said Mike Taylor, co-owner at CES. “The new site will allow us to enhance our propane and fuel oil services, as well as our welding supply and pool services.”
This month CES broke ground on the 3.5-acre site on Route 17M in Goshen, a project managed by The Ruby Group – a construction contracting firm also based in Goshen. The site will feature a 4,000-square-foot CES customer service and distribution center that will be shared with a new branch of All Gas Welding and Supply Company. The adjacent 1,200-square-foot pool services center will house a new branch of Wechsler Pool & Supply Company. Both companies are based in Monticello and also owned by Taylor.
All Gas provides a variety of welding apparatus, including safety equipment, cylinders, carts, plasma cutters, torch kits, auto-darkening welding helmets and other accessories. Wechsler provides liquid chlorine deliveries and service for commercial pool customers.
Taylor added, “It’s great to be a local, family-owned company expanding its services, while many other propane and fuel oil providers are selling out to large, nationwide companies that don’t know our region and also send their revenues back to Wall Street. Every penny we make stays right here at home.”
