CATSKILL REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER’S GROVER M. HERMANN HOSPITAL AUXILIARY TO HOLD ANNUAL HEALTH & CRAFT FAIR MAY 18

April 26, 2013 – Callicoon, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and the Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary are sponsoring the Annual Mary Cade Memorial Health & Craft Fair on Saturday, May 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grover M. Hermann Hospital, located at 8881 NYS Route 97, Callicoon, N.Y.

Admission is free, and the fair will feature health screenings, health information booths, raffles, vendors, a bake sale, refreshments and live entertainment. It is also a great opportunity for attendees to learn more about their community hospital in Callicoon.

Free health tests will be available, including cholesterol and glucose screenings (which require a 12-hour fast) performed by CRMC laboratory personnel, blood pressure readings performed by CRMC nurses and free hearing tests performed by Stuart Kabak from Catskill Hearing Aid & Audiological Services.

This year’s fair will also feature a Chicken BBQ Take Out for only $8. The Chicken BBQ includes a half chicken, roll, baked beans, coleslaw and a cookie. Tickets for the BBQ can be purchased from any Auxiliary member or by calling Dottie at 845-932-8487. Tickets must be purchased before May 11.
