Aug. 15, 2012 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) held its 34th Annual Golf Classic on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at the Villa Roma Resort and Golf Club in Callicoon, N.Y., raising more than $61,000 for the Hospital. More than128 golfers attended the event.
Proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic will be used toward the purchase of new telemetry units for the fifth floor at CRMC. The telemetry system provides wireless bedside monitoring between a central station and patient, which allows for round-the-clock observation.
“Catskill Regional Medical Center appreciates all of the support from our sponsors, donors, players and volunteers,” said JP McGuirk, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for CRMC. “The event was a great success and was dependent on the generosity of everyone involved. Between the funds raised at the Golf Classic and the WSUL/WVOS Heart-a-Thon held earlier this year, we are pleased to say that we will have enough money to purchase the telemetry units.”
A member of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System, Catskill Regional Medical Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality health care to residents in the Sullivan County region. For more information, visit www.crmcny.org.
