August 22, 2013 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Urology is pleased to announce Maribeth Widas has joined the staff as a Physician Assistant.
With over 15 years’ experience, Ms. Widas completed her Physician Assistant program at Stony Brook University and she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Manhattan College. As a licensed physician assistant and under the supervision of Dr. Gerard Galarneau, she will assist with surgeries and provide an advanced level of patient care.
“We are very excited to add a physician assistant of such a high caliber to our staff,” says Dr. Galarneau. “Maribeth’s experience, compassion and interpersonal skills are a great fit with our philosophy of providing exceptional patient care.”
The urology practice specializes in the treatment of incontinence, voiding, erectile dysfunction and kidney stones. Dr. Galarneau also has expertise in the treatment of all urologic cancers including prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer. The office, located at the main Harris campus on the 3rd floor of the Ambulatory Services Building, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and appointments can be made by calling 845-794-0996.
