January 24, 2013 – Harris, N.Y. – The Cancer Services Program of Sullivan County, administered by Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC), is pleased to announce a day devoted to cancer screening for eligible women. On Monday, January 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at CRMC’s Women’s Health Center, located at 60 Jefferson Street, Suite 1 in Monticello, N.Y., free breast exams, mammograms and pelvic exams with Pap tests will be available to eligible uninsured and underinsured women over the age of 40.
Appointments are limited and pre-registration is required. Uninsured/underinsured women over the age of 40 who are interested in these free screenings should contact LaToya Lawrence at 845-794-3300 ext. 2115 to see if they are eligible and to make an appointment.
Eligible women and men over the age of 50 may receive a colorectal screening kit by calling to enroll in the Cancer Services Program.
