November 20, 2012 – Harris, N.Y. – At the annual Fallsburg Lions Club dinner hosted by Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) on November 15, the Lions presented two checks to CRMC Director of Community Services Jodi Goodman. One check for $3,000 was to be put toward the advancement of medical equipment, and the other check for $500 was contributed to CRMC’s Rape Intervention Services and Education (RISE) program of Sullivan County.
Ms. Goodman thanked the Fallsburg Lions for their continued generosity, and showed appreciation for the organizations’ long-time friendship. Additionally, Ms. Goodman gave a presentation updating the club on CRMC’s activities in the past year. The activities discussed included the opening of an expanded and updated Emergency Department that will better serve the community, and the introduction of electronic health records at CRMC, a groundbreaking advancement that will assist CRMC inproviding efficient and high quality health care to patients.
