November 28, 2012 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC), along with Northern Metropolitan Hospital Association (NorMet) and other Hudson Valley hospitals, are participating in Vet Connect – a Web-based initiative intended to raise awareness about the employment and health needs of veterans throughout the Hudson Valley.
This initiative emphasizes hospitals’ recognition of the exceptional service veterans have provided to this country and hospitals’ commitment in assisting them with their employment and health needs.
Vet Connect offers veterans information on how to transform their military skills to civilian jobs, and provides access to job listings at each hospital in the Hudson Valley region, a catalog of educational institutions that provide health care job training and a list of member hospitals and services offered at each facility.
