Social media outlet provides another avenue to communicate with the community
April 1, 2011 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) announced today that it has launched a Facebook page to help keep community members informed about the latest activities at the hospital. The page can be found at www.facebook.com/crmcny
CRMC is in the midst of many new and exciting projects. In addition to recently adding a state-of-the-art 64-Slice CT Scanner at its main Harris campus, the hospital is currently expanding its Emergency Department (slated to be completed in September), establishing an outpatient diagnostic center at Grover M. Hermann Hospital (including digital mammography and osteoporosis screening) and expanding outpatient imaging services at the Monticello Women’s Health Center (including digital mammography, bone densitometry, ultrasound and radiology services). CRMC has also recently opened a new primary care practice in Livingston Manor.
“Social media is an important communication vehicle,” said JP McGuirk, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Catskill Regional Medical Center. “Our Facebook page is another way that we will keep the community informed about the advancements and events at CRMC. We also plan to post health tips and facts that will be beneficial to the community.”
