July 3, 2013 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Rolland “Boomer” Bojo, RN, MSN, CFR has been appointed Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Officer. In this role, Mr. Bojo is responsible for providing nursing leadership throughout the Hospital as well as oversight for nursing practice, nursing standards and patient care delivery.
Mr. Bojo joined Catskill Regional 10 years ago and has held several positions including Administrator of Patient Care Services and Emergency Manager, Grant Director, Clinical Director of the Emergency Department and Director of Infection Control.
“Rolland is an indispensable asset to Catskill Regional. His leadership, knowledge and extensive experience will allow him to enhance the clinical excellence of our nursing staff,” says Catskill Regional’s CEO Dr. Gerard Galarneau.
Mr. Bojo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Binghamton University and earned his Master’s degree in Nursing from Norwich University. He holds certifications as a NYS Certified First Responder, Professional Development Emergency Department, Fire Fighter 1, Haz Mat Technician and ICS 400. Mr. Bojo is also the Deputy Coordinator of the Delaware County Office of Emergency Services and a member of the Hancock Fire Department and the Hancock Rescue Squad.
