The first day of school at John S. Burke Catholic High School offers an opportunity to observe the inclusive and embracive culture at the only Catholic high school in Orange County. On opening day, administrators revive connections by pairing freshmen with the same sophomores who gave them a tour during the “Eagle for a Day” visit months earlier. Upperclassmen, administrators and teachers join in to make the new students feel welcome and get to know each other.
