Agreements guarantee Burke Catholic graduates acceptance into these selective colleges and universities
GOSHEN, N.Y. (February 7, 2020) – John S. Burke Catholic High School is excited to announce a series of articulation agreements with multiple Catholic colleges and universities effective immediately. These agreements guarantee all eligible Burke Catholic graduates acceptance into Misericordia University, the University of Scranton, Mount Saint Mary College, and Saint Bonaventure University. The agreements also provide 4-year academic scholarships ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per student.
With these unique partnerships, Burke Catholic enhances its reputation as the premier high school education option in Orange County.
“Burke Catholic is extremely pleased to be partnering with these extraordinary Catholic institutions to further the spiritual and academic formation of our students,” said Principal of Academics Janice Clark. “We are very grateful to our guidance department for their collaboration with these schools to secure the agreements and look forward to announcing more partnerships in the future.”
“These agreements will not only offer our students guaranteed acceptance into outstanding academic programs, but our students will also benefit from generous financial scholarship packages as well,” added Director of Guidance JoEllen Nemeth. “We are currently the only high school in the country to be partnered with these schools and the only high school in Orange County that can offer this unique opportunity to its students.”
Burke Catholic continues to pursue expansion of this mutually beneficial collaboration and expects to solidify articulation agreements with more universities in the years ahead.
