GOSHEN, N.Y. (October 23, 2017) — Three companies representing varied craft food and beverage producers have recently joined the Hudson Valley Food and Beverage Alliance: Brewmation, Ardent Homesteader and Sprout Creek Farm. The Alliance is widely known for its collection of diverse businesses in the food and beverage production spectrum.
Founded in 2003 by Kevin Weaver, Brewmation started out as a hobby with Weaver homebrewing in his garage. The company, which builds breweries and control panels, can supply components or a complete turnkey system for brew houses. Currently, Brewmation sells to dozens of New York breweries, and also sells to other countries, including Canada, Venezuela and Ecuador. To learn more, visit brewmation.com .
The Ardent Homesteader developed out of one woman’s quest for the perfect caramel sauce. After several tries, the perfect caramel sauce was born, and so was The Ardent Homesteader, the company that produces Cara-Sel, a salted caramel sauce that goes perfectly with pies, ice cream, fruit and more. Cara-Sel can be purchased at a variety of farm stands and retail stores in the Hudson Valley’s seven counties, as well as in select locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey, or at ardenthomesteader.com .
Sprout Creek Farm encompasses 200 acres in Dutchess County, and is a working farm (raising free-range cows, sheep, goats, turkeys, guinea fowl, chickens and pigs); a market that sells its internationally award-winning cheeses and farm-produced meats, as well as local Hudson Valley milk, eggs, vegetables, crafts and gifts; and an educational center that offers day, weekend and summer programs designed to help connect young people to the land, the seasons, and the plants and animals that co-exist on the farm.
