MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (March 27, 2013) –Bonnie J. Orr, CPA, a shareholder in Judelson, Giordano & Siegel, CPA, PC, has been appointed to the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan Board of Directors.

The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan administers a charitable endowment consisting of more than 100 separately identified funds serving two Hudson Valley counties. The Foundation offers uniquely personal service, local knowledge and professional investment and grant-making expertise that helps donors make a lasting difference through their giving.
“It is an honor to join the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors,” Orr said. “I am delighted to be able to help strengthen the community in this way and help forward the Foundation’s mission of improving the quality of life in our area.”
Orr began her career in public accounting in 1981. In addition to providing tax and accounting advice to a wide range of closely held businesses, Orr specializes in the area of estates and trusts, working closely with clients and their attorneys to provide estate and personal tax planning strategies. Orr has extensive experience in the areas of generation-skipping tax, living trusts, life insurance trusts, personal residence trusts, charitable remainder trusts, special needs trusts and family limited partnerships.

Orr currently serves as an officer and board member of several charities and is a past president of the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs.
Orr resides in Middletown with her husband and two sons.
