Being Local Has Its Perks: Woodbury Common Premium Outlets Announces Expansion of Local Residents Program

Woodbury Common Enhances Local Residents Program with Additional Perks and Discounts

CENTRAL VALLEY, N.Y. (August 1, 2019) — One year after launching its successful Local Residents Program, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets has announced an expansion of the program to offer the local community additional benefits while shopping at the Outlets.

Neighbors from within a 45-mile radius, including Orange, Sullivan, Rockland, Dutchess, Ulster, Putnam, Westchester, Bergen, Passaic, Sussex and Pike Counties are eligible for the ‘Being Local Has Its Perks’ promotion, in addition to the savings of 25 to 65 percent all Woodbury Common Premium Outlets shoppers enjoy every day. To qualify, shoppers must present identification showing their address within a 45-mile radius.

In addition to the complimentary up-front parking outside Market Hall locals have enjoyed on Wednesdays, they can now stop at Guest Services for a scratch-off card for a chance to win prizes including a $25 or $50 gift card or Woodbury Common swag. Plus, Monday through Thursday, local residents can pick up a ‘Being Local Has Its Perks’ rack card to receive exclusive discounts from retailers at the Center such as Kate Spade, Moncler, Coach, Sunglass Hut, Express and Gap, plus complimentary bread and cheese tastings on Wednesdays at Le Pain Quotidien and a free Savings Passport.

“Woodbury Common attracts visitors from across the globe, and the destination for world-class shopping is in our residents’ own backyards,” said Shannon McSweeney-LeMay, Director of Marketing and Business Development for Woodbury Common Premium Outlets. “This program was designed to welcome our local community to the Outlets and make shopping at Woodbury Common fun, convenient and even more affordable with exclusive benefits just for them. Thanks to the success of the program, we’ve added additional days and perks to better accommodate everyone’s busy lifestyle and just in time for back-to-school shopping.”
