ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. (June 30, 2021) – School is out of session and the summer sun is calling to individuals of all ages. With scorching temperatures in the forecast, Orange County, N.Y.’s spectacular lakes and breathtaking rivers offer ways to beat the heat for the whole family.  Lay out on the sand or kayak down the river as you take advantage of the Hudson Valley’s natural waterways.

“With summer in full swing, families can enjoy endless opportunities for some fun on the water right here in Orange County,” said Orange County Tourism Director Amanda Dana. “Spend the day taking in scenic views and all that our region has to offer in the summer. After being out on the water, unwind with a meal from one of our local farm-to-table restaurants or craft beverage locations to make the day truly unforgettable.”

Pride of the Hudson, 90 Front Street, Newburgh: Cruise through the majestic Hudson Highlands aboard the luxurious Pride of the Hudson.
