GOSHEN, N.Y. (June 6, 2017) – Two Hudson Valley businessmen were recently appointed to the Board of Directors for Elant Inc.
Andrew L. Simon, a principal, consulting partner and head of new business development of Simon Associates Management Consultants in Yorktown Heights; and Thomas Weddell, a managing partner with RBT CPAs in Newburgh, were appointed following the board’s annual voting process in May.
“We are honored to be adding two extremely talented professionals to our board now as we begin long-range strategic planning for our Glen Arden facility,” said Board Chairperson Donna Cornell.
Simon specializes in early-stage companies as well as helping established companies identify and open new markets. He is a certified Innovation Games® facilitator and trainer. Simon has taken a series of start-ups through successful stages of development, including most recently Questar Assessment Inc., where he served as founder, CFO, CEO and chairman.
He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and received his master’s degree from Columbia University.
