New Windsor, N.Y. (January 24, 2013) – The American Cancer Society’s Hudson Valley Region (covering Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan and Ulster counties) will mark the organization’s 100th birthday with a celebratory Birthday Bash at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor. Bonura Hospitality’s Michael and Jennifer Bonura and Focus Media’s Josh Sommers and Lisa Kelly are co-chairing this unique event.
“The Birthday Bash is going to be unlike anything we’ve ever done; in fact, we’re calling it the ‘Celebration of the Century’ because that is what it will be,” said Bonnie Wright, Director of Distinguished Events for the American Cancer Society’s Hudson Valley Region. “In addition to raising funds and awareness of our mission to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays, this event is going to be full of excitement and surprises. Our co-chairs and committee members bring a lot of energy and new ideas to the table, and we believe this event will be one of our most successful events yet.”
