Themed St. Patrick’s Day events make March the perfect time for a Hudson Valley getaway.
ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. (February 24, 2016) – They say everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, and visitors to Orange County this March will surely agree. Celebrations are kicking off early in the month and run for a full two weeks, providing plenty of opportunities to join in the fun!
“Green is the color of Orange County in March when you can dance, eat, drink, and be Irish in so many different ways at our St. Patrick’s celebrations,” said Orange County Tourism Director Susan Hawvermale. “Join the merriment and come for fun right here in the Hudson Valley.”

St. Patrick’s Day Open-House Workshop, Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, Goshen, N.Y. – Sunday, March 13, 11:00 am-1:00 pm: Children will create their own Lucky Horseshoe noise maker to shake while watching the parade pass by the museum. Staff will lead kids through a series of fun games. Seamus McGee, our Irish Standardbred mascot, will make an appearance.
