14 Trainees Complete Mobile Life Support Services EMT Academy and Join the Workforce

NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (October 10, 2019) — Mobile Life Support Services, the largest emergency medical provider in the Hudson Valley, announced that 14 trainees have recently completed the Mobile Life Support Services 2019 Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Academy, a 12-week long, paid training academy for men and women looking to become certified EMTs.

All of this year’s graduates have completed the course and passed their Mobile Life final exam. In addition, they have passed the New York State certification exam, received their NYS Certifications and are soon to be serving their communities as part of the Mobile Life team. The graduates include: Sheila Arce Cruz, Newburgh; Brandon Arciello, Kingston; Patrice Bell, Hopewell Junction; Joseph Cavaliere,  Middletown; Jacqueline Daniels,  Hyde Park; Llaney Hernandez, Monroe; Hope Kazimir, Beacon; Iris Kurman,  Newburgh; Ryan Lynch, Milton; Angel Nieves, Cornwall on Hudson; Maria Pena, Beacon; Heather Reed, Poughkeepsie; Brennan Schlusser, Poughkeepsie; and Amber Sircable, Westtown.

Full-time employment with benefits begins on the first day of class with health insurance available after 60 days. While enrolled, trainees completed a 40-hour work week with three days in the classroom and two days in the field interning with current Mobile Life EMTs. Uniforms, textbooks and supplies were provided for students.

“This program allows us to not only educate and introduce new EMTs into the EMS industry, but it also gives us an opportunity to foster employees that embody the core values of Mobile Life Support Services,” said Mobile Life President and CEO Scott Woebse. “They are highly trained, compassionate health care providers and I am certain they will make a difference in our communities throughout the Hudson Valley Region. Congratulations to our newest EMTs and our incomparable Education Department on such a successful program.”
